I am the mother of four who has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for the Lord. My path through the years has included being a Volunteer Coordinator for the elderly indigent at Westly Hall, Director of Youth Drug and Alcohol Reduction Project for Volunteers of America, and Boys /Girls Hope Development Director assisting at-risk students so they could receive tuition-free private education, scholarship and housing for high school through college.

I believe all these positions led me to Mannequin Boutique. I was fortunate to meet Moe Rouse who started the Mannequin Boutique non-profit for charity. From her I learned the basics for successfully operating a charity and she graciously gave me the tools to accomplish that goal. Her decision to change ownership to me was enthusiastically accepted. Since then, I have opened our second store in Newport, Kentucky. This has allowed me to share a more extensive item selection to Northern Kentucky.

My focus is providing funds to small charities whose work involves the economically challenged. We vet the charities on both sides of the river on measurable positive results where our funding goes directly to those being served. We take no salary or compensation, as every dollar raised helps those in need. While the work is time-consuming and sometimes arduous, the Christian fellowship I have gained exceeds anything I could have expected.

Mannequin Boutique appreciates that a few dollars our customers spend on clothing and accessories can make life a little better for many and the earth a little cleaner.
